Little Acorns Nursery
Our excellent Early Years offers children the very best start to their education. Our primary aim at this stage is to ignite a passion for learning and ensure children are happy, confident and enjoy coming to school. We get to know our pupils individually and celebrate their unique personalities, ensuring that academic achievement is equal to social and emotional development. We carefully consider each child’s starting point and build learning to suit their needs. Children have the opportunity to engage in activities that are planned by an adult as well as learning that they initiate themselves.
Our well-resourced indoor and outdoor space enables us to plan exciting and engaging learning experiences that foster children’s curiosity. There is no distinction between ‘play’ and ‘work’ at Bhylls Acre, as while children are busy playing and exploring they are busy learning, and having fun!
Children can be admitted in the term after they become 3 years’ old and we offer either morning or afternoon sessions. Where numbers allow, we are able to offer full days to those families who require it – this is purely on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Once your child has turned 3, you will be eligible for 15 or 30 hours funding for nursery provision. Please visit:
Rising 3’s – We also offer private provision for those children who turn 3 after a new cohort date has passed. Please see our Admissions Policy for further information.
Wrap Around Care – Nursery children are also able to access our breakfast club and after school club. These run from 7.15am – 8.40am and 3,30pm – 6.00pm Monday-Friday, term time only.
Please enquire at the school office for further information.
