Welcome to our school.
I offer a warm welcome to you and your child at Bhylls Acre Primary School. We are a very caring and friendly school where each of our children is valued and treated as an individual. We strive to nurture happy, confident individuals, with a passion for life-long learning, equipped with the self-motivation and courage required to understand and respect our ever changing world. We want all our children to achieve their full potential in a happy, nurturing environment in which they can flourish.
We pride ourselves on educating the whole child by providing a broad and balanced curriculum and a wide range of educational and social experiences which prepare the children with secure life skills. We aim to develop children’s intellectual curiosity, a thirst for discovery and achievement, a sense of understanding and compassion for others.
We are a successful and popular school with an extremely friendly and nurturing family ethos. All the staff are lively, dynamic and enthusiastic and children’s development and wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do. We have created a safe and secure environment in which children can thrive and become independent life-long learners.
Our school and grounds offer excellent facilities to enhance the children’s development. We offer a wide range of clubs and additional activities for the children to take part in and pride ourselves on our sporting achievements.
We firmly believe that the key to successful learning is by building a strong partnership between home and school. We welcome parents into school to be part of and to support their child’s learning. We have a thriving PTFA and the Governing Board work hard to support all staff and parents. Furthermore, we endeavour to involve our children in the local area and community.
I hope you find our website useful and you have learned a little about our lovely school. The best way to find out what a school is like is to come and visit and see for yourself. We warmly welcome you to come and see us at work and play.
