School Closures

Staffordshire County Council have implemented new procedures for schools to inform parents of school closures due to adverse weather conditions. All closures can be accessed on their website. Parents can also sign up to the county council’s alert system.

The decision to close our school is not one that will be taken lightly. Consideration will be given to:

• The state of the pathways, steps and slopes around the school
• The condition of roads and pathways in the local area
• If the school’s heating, lighting and water is working correctly
• Whether catering can be provided
• The weather forecast

 We will do everything we can to ensure we remain open during the winter months.
